New "Daredevil" season 2 details will have full description of the show's new trailer and a rumored appearance of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s new director, Phil Coulson.
Marvel President Kein Feige confirmed that all of Marvel Studios produced movies will have references from its TV series and vice versa stating that it is "inevitable" and that he and Marvel TV producer Jeph Loeb must first establish the new characters and their respective shows before making a crossover with the films.
Both Loeb and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." star Clark Gregg have revealed that possibility S.H.I.E.L.D. Phil Coulson could likely visit Hell's Kitchen, New York and have an unexpected encounter with Matt Muedock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) within "Daredevil" season 2, Screenrant reported. Loeb stated that "its all connected" that references from Iron Man, Captain America and Thor have already been hinted within the show and characters such as Carl Creel/Absorbing Man has appeared in both "Daredevil" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.".
However, Loeb added that they must be careful in establishing these characters first before crossing over to another show as he does not want characters like Matt Murdock to just waltz in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." unprepared or Coulson appearing in season 2 without a plan, but he is confident that it will happen soon.
Gregg agreed with what Loeb said and that the characters must first establish their individuality before making appearances from other Marvel TV series or movies as he fears that making Easter egg references will get "old" pretty quick.
Aside from Phil Coulson's possible cameo, the trailer description for "Daredevil" season 2 has been revealed.
Marvel and Netflix showcased that first trailer for "Daredevil" season 2 during the New York Comic Con event, ComicBook reported. While the trailer has not reached online, comic book fans begun posting the trailer description for season 2.
The trailer begins with Matt Murdock/Daredevil lighting up the streets and highlighting various scenes from season 1. A new scene cuts with Matt, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) in a church as Matt and Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) began talking.
Matt asked Lantom on why he feels guilty, alluding to his vigilante crusade as Lantom answered, "Guilt can be a good thing".
The next scene will feature Clair Temple (Rosario Dawson) in an hospital followed by a flash of Foggy and Matt in full Daredevil costume. Audiences will have a glimpse of Elektra (Elodie Young) wearing a mask.
A crime scene will feature a man with black gloves picking up a bullet casing and Karen sees an x-ray with a big white skull. The last scene ends with a wounded man running on a hallway, while another man was shot in the head as Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) is about to kill the injured man, telling him to "beg" for his life.
"Daredevil" season 2 will premiere sometime in 2016 on Netflix.
