Mickey Mouse encourages local talents in the country to become a part of an international legend.

The most famous mouse in the world finds another location for its theme park and it badly needs people.

The Walt Disney Company-China gears up for recruitment as it entertains applicants at the Shanghai Talent Tower in Zhabei District from Oct. 21-24.

Shanghai Disney Resort announced on Oct. 14 on its website that it will launch an “extensive recruitment campaign.”

The first two days of the recruitment will entertain those applicants who already completed an online application procedure. The last two days will be open for all walk-in applicants.

According to the press release, the resort “will offer a wide range of employment opportunities for talent at all levels.” It aims to hire people across the country “with experience in the tourism and services industry.”

Shanghai will host other job fairs “in the coming months” after the scheduled four-day recruitment campaign.

Philippe Gas, the general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, said that the company is looking for “great” people to hire.

The recruits will be trained to “deliver warm hospitality and renowned guest service” to all guests.

“Disney is a wonderful place to work and foster a career, and we are extremely proud to offer many exciting employment opportunities to the people of Shanghai and China,” said Gas.

Disney hired Gas in 1991. The Paris-born executive has since handled various major positions in the company.

Lara Tiam, vice president of human resources, said that Disney will provide “in-depth” training programs.

Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney theme park in mainland China, already handles 1,500 employees. It intends to open in the spring of 2016.

Some of the highlights of this vacation destination will be Shanghai Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown and Wishing Star Park.
