In a battle of the current league leaders, Celta Vigo (5-0-3, 18 points) and Real Madrid (5-0-3, 18 points) will clash in a week 9 La Liga 2015-2016 encounter at the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos on October 24, Saturday.

Celta Vigo dethroned erstwhile league leader Villarreal, 2-1, in their match at the Estadio El Madrigal last Sunday.

Chilean winger Fabián Orellana drew first blood at the 41st minute with a long range shot before Villarreal center Eric Bailly was sent off two minutes into the second half after getting his second yellow card, as per BBC Sport.

El Submarino Amarillo managed to equalize the count at 1-all courtesy of midfielder Denis Suárez's right-footer at the 67th despite the one-man disadvantage.

But Os Celestes forward Nolito found the back of the net right at full time to snatch the point away from Villarreal and propel Celta Vigo at the league's topmost position.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid demolished Levante, 3-0, in their week 8 match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium last Saturday, via SkySports.

Marcelo, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Jesé provided the goals for Rafael Benítez's team at the 27th, 30th, and 81st minutes respectively en route to the lopsided win.

This Los Blancos- Os Célticos match will prove to be a thriller with Ronaldo and company pulling off a tough win against their challengers.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 victory for Real Madrid.

Celta Vigo starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): Alvarez; Mallo, Cabral, Gomez, Jonny; Wass, Fernandez, Bergara; Orellana, Aspas, Nolito

Real Madrid starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): Navas; Danilo, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Kovacic; Isco, Ronaldo, Bale
