Cellar-dweller Newcastle United (0-5-3, 3 points) hopes to find their first victory of the 2015-2016 Premier League season against newly-promoted Norwich City (2-3-3, 9 points) at the St. James' Park on Sunday, October 18.

The Magpies are one of only two remaining Premier League clubs, the other one is Sunderland, that has yet to win a game this season and new coach Steve McClaren would look to finally have a breakthrough in this meeting.

Newcastle was the victim of Manchester City's 1-6 romp last October 3 as Argentine striker Sergio Agüero unleashed a five-goal attack at the Etihad Stadium, via The Guardian.

Serbian forward Aleksandar Mitrović put the Magpies up 1-nil with an open header at the 18th minute but that was about all that McClaren's men can do against the hot-shooting Agüero. Kevin De Bruyne added a goal to complete City's six-goal haul.

Meanwhile, the Canaries were nipped by Leicester City in their October 3 match at the Carrow Road, as per NBC Sports.

Congolese striker Dieumerci Mbokani provided the lone goal for Alex Neil's squad at the 68th minute, but that was only as close as they can get after the Foxes' Jamie Vardy and Jeff Schlupp put Leicester on top, 2-0, 47 minutes into the match.

McClaren and his boys may be desperate for a win, but the Yellows are keen on recovering from their loss, which would tide them through the game.

The predicted result is a tough 1-0 win for Norwich City.
