Middling club Watford FC (2-2-4, 10 points) will try to bounce back from two winless outings as they host Premier League 2015-2016 top contender Arsenal FC (5-2-1, 16 points) at the Vicarage Road on October 17, Saturday.

The Hornets are coming off a 1-1 standoff against fellow newly-promoted team AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium last October 3. The draw gave Watford an additional point in the overall standings to be the highest-placed newcomer so far.

Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo equalized the count right at the halftime mark to preserve the point for Quique Sánchez Flores' side after Boscombe's Glenn Murray found the back of the net at the 28th minute, as reported by BBC Sport.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is fresh off an impressive 3-0 dismantling of erstwhile league leader Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on October 4.

Chilean winger Alexis Sánchez had a double in the opening minutes while German midfielder Mesut Özil added another one also in the early going of the first half en route to the lopsided victory, as per ESPN.

The Gunners took advantage of United's seemingly lackadaisical approach in their match as only striker Anthony Martial was energetic enough to contend with the hosts.

Arsene Wenger is looking to extend his team's two-game winning run and it looks like they can accomplish it against Watford this weekend.

The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Arsenal.
