NFL 2015 Season: Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

| Oct 23, 2015 12:34 AM EDT

Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks Brandon Weeden (#3) and Matt Cassel (#16).

The Dallas Cowboys (2-3) and New York Giants (3-3) take on each other for a crucial NFC East divisional affair at the MetLife Stadium this Sunday, October 25 as both teams fight for the top spot of the division that is currently highly competitive.

Dallas is coming off a huge 30-6 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 5 before going on a bye last week as starters Tony Romo and Dez Bryant continues to be sidelined with injuries, as per ESPN.

Brandon Weeden was miserable in the game as a fill-in for Romo, which led head coach Jason Garrett to replace him with veteran journeyman Matt Cassel as the starting quarterback in the game against the Giants.

Meanwhile, New York also lost a huge one in its last game against divisional rival Philadelphia Eagles, 27-7, at the Lincoln Financial Field after winning three-straight matches, via NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk.

This is the second meeting of both squads for the season. In their first matchup during Week 1, the Giants won by a hairline, 27-26, with Dallas' lineup still intact.

However, with the latest struggles of New York and injuries to their top two wide receivers, Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle, plus the refreshed Cowboys coming off a bye week, it looks like Coach Garrett will pull one off in East Rutherford this Sunday.

Prediction: Cowboys win, 21-14.
