New 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Trailer Released

A children's book supposedly depicting the story of the upcoming film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been found online.

The new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer debuted earlier this week and is the seventh entry trailer in the series that runs for two and a half minutes.

James Darling made the trailer by cutting his own fan-edit that showcases all the features from all the trailers after which he posted it on the Science vs Cinema channel.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer gives fans the clearest views of the new characters Rey (Daisy Ridley), a scavenger on the desert planet,  Jakku,  and Finn (John Boyega), a TIE fighter pilot who deserts. It also portrays former rogue Han Solo (Harrison Ford). The film is directed by J.J Abrams and written by Lawrence Kadsan, Michael Arndt and George Lucas.

The trailer was released online after it aired during the halftime of ESPN's "Monday Night Football". In addition, following the reveal of the official poster for the film on Sunday, there was the release of a new ad for the video game "Star Wars: Battle Front".

According to Deadline, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is a continuation of the saga created by George Lucas set 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi". It also stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson as well as Gwendoline Christie. This seventh episode will also see the return of some cast members such as Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is set to hit the theatres on Dec. 18, CBC News reported

The presales of the tickets were supposed to commence after the trailer was aired. However, several sites were experiencing loading issues due to the high demand from the fans.
