Ben Affleck is Batman in Zack Snyder's “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder has voiced his thoughts on Batman, saying that the Dark Knight is everywhere.

Batman co-creator Bob Kane received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Oct. 21 and director Snyder was present to honor him. In his speech at the event (via Comic Book Resources), Snyder said that the Dark Knight had not been actually the Batman he had imagined. The director added that one realization was that everyone had an imaginary Batman in his mind, creeping around the shadows.

Snyder also said that the Dark Knight was a man with no powers, as compared to Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash. For the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director, Batman was a man and the people carried around a hero inside of themselves every day. Overall, Snyder said that in actuality, people are all Batman.

Born in 1915, Kane had developed a passion for the "color funnies" from his father, who was an engraver for the New York Daily News, as per Variety. Later, he joined the comic-book industry through Adventure Comics and Action Comics, which are both under the company that would have eventually become recognized as DC Comics.

Meanwhile, Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" serves as the path to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be aired in two separate teasers on Oct. 26 while the film is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
