"The Knick" star Michael Arangano has revealed his thoughts on why he did not push through George Miller's "Justice League."
In his interview with The Huffington Post, Arangano said that he had screen-tested for Marc Webb's Sony Pictures film "Spider-Man, " which starred Andrew Garfield. He added that when he had been 18 or 19, he had auditioned for Miller's "Justice League." For the actor, his conceited and selective actor mind had thought that he had already done a superhero film and he did not want to do another one again.
Arangano also said that while he had nearly physically coerced by people who had been close to him, he had done everything got him not to end up with being a part of the cast in the film. The actor's situation could not be blamed to him, according to Cinema Blend. It was because the timing of his audition was not parallel with the period when superhero film rose to popularity.
Aside from Jack Amiel and Michael Begler's drama series "The Knick," Arangano is known for his roles in Cameron Crowe's musical drama "Almost Famous," Mike Mitchel's adventure comedy film "Sky High," Kevin Smith'd action crime film "Red State," and Steven Soderbergh's action thriller film "Haywire." Arangano is also set to helm the comedy drama film "Avenues," which premieres in 2016.
