Nyle DiMarco: Deaf, Sexually Fluid ‘Switched At Birth’ Actor, ‘ANTM’ Cycle 22 Winner?

Nyle DiMarco and Justin Kim are two of the male models of Tyra Banks' "America's Next Top Model" cycle 22.

Nyle DiMarco is one of the six models who are still in the running to become the 22nd and the last winner of "America's Next Top Model." His remaining "ANTM" cycle 22 competitors are Lacey Rogers, Mikey Heverley, Mamei Adjei, Devin Clark and Hadassah Richardson.

Aside from being the first ever deaf contestant of "ANTM," DiMarco is also known for playing Garrett Banducci in "Switched at Birth" season 4 and one of the few celebrities who openly identify as sexually fluid like Miley Cyrus and Cara Delevingne.

In a recent interview with MTV, DiMarco was asked if he plans to pursue a career in modeling in case he does not win "ANTM" cycle 22. He replied, "Yes. I am definitely going to pursue a career in modeling. I'm hoping to get signed to agencies I want to work with."

If DiMarco does not win "ANTM" cycle 22 and fails to have a successful modeling career, the "Switched at Birth" season 4 actor apparently has something else to do. He is also going to pursue acting and hopes his fans will see more of him on the TV screen.

In addition, DiMarco shared the best piece of advice Tyra Banks has given him. He said the "ANTM" creator, host and judge has taught him and all of his fellow contestants not to ever take no as an answer.

DiMarco learned from Banks that when there is a no, there is a bunch more yeses out there, too. This reminds him that he should never back down until he achieves his goals.

Banks was recently in Beverly Hills, California for Media's Hollywood Tribute to African-American Achievements in Television. At the event, she told Entertainment Tonight that it is important to leave when "ANTM" is on top and she thinks it is time.
