In terms of acting career, Yaya DaCosta and Analeigh Tipton are two of the most successful alumni of "America's Next Top Model," which was created by Tyra Banks. The two have landed several starring roles both in small and big screens.
DaCosta played the late Whitney Houston in a biopic while Tipton was recently with Ryan Reynolds at the Toronto International Film Festival for their film "Mississippi Grind," Daily Mail reported.
DaCosta and Tipton failed to become America's next top model but they are still in the running to become America's next top actors and it appears that several "ANTM" alums are following suit.
1. "ANTM" cycle 11 sixth placer and cycle 17 13th placer Sheena Satana
In 2009, Satana played a model in one "Gossip Girl" episode but she was uncredited. She is set to play Soo in the TV series "Power."
2. "ANTM" cycle 20 eighth placer Don Benjamin
Aside from music and modelling, Benjamin is also pursuing a career in acting. He appeared in an episode in "One Ten" and starred in the film "Matthew 18" in 2014. He is set to star in the upcoming films "3am in Hollywood" and the 2016 drama "Supermodel," which will star Tyson Beckford, Tatyana Ali and a fellow "ANTM" alum.
3. "ANTM" cycle 13 third placer Jenn An
Before her "ANTM" stint, in which she shared the third and fourth place withErin Wagner, An played an astronomy student in Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" starring Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox but she was uncredited.
An went on to star in TV movies "The Blue Line" and "Dumb Girls" and appeared in the TV series "Haunted Hathaways." She is also part of the cast of the romantic comedy "Hibiscus."
4. "ANTM" cycle 21 ninth placer Denzel Wells
After "ANTM" cycle 21, Wells joined the cast of Tyler Perry's "If Loving You Is Wrong." The soap opera stars April Parker Jones, Zulay Henao, Heather Hemmens, Edwina Findley and Amanda Clayton.
5. "ANTM" cycle 11 10th placer and cycle 17 12th placer Isis King
The only transgender "ANTM" finalist appeared in "Bella Maddo" in 2013 before playing Sonja in "The Bold and the Beautiful." She also starred in "Hello Forever" prior to her upcoming film "My Cousin's Ghetto Wedding" opposite Doug Jones, Claudia Wells and Tommy "Tiny" Lister.
In an recent interview with Teen Vogue, King said her dream role would be "anything that has to do with superheroes."
