SK Telecom T1" has made history as the first two-time world champions for the Season 5 World Championship Finals of "League of Legends."

The South Korean pro gamer group called "SK Telecom T1" has made history as the first two-time world champions for the Season 5 World Championship Finals of the video game "League of Legends," against the KOO Tigers last Saturday, Oct. 31, in Berlin.

After the nearly four weeks of competing all over Europe, SK Telecom T1 was nearly undefeated, except for dropping one game against the KOO Tigers. The champion team scored three points against one in a best of five series, securing them the world title, as reported by Gamespot.

SK Telecom won in the first game against the underdogs Koo Tigers and despite suffering several mistakes in game two, the South Korean team won again. It was game three that made the seemingly undefeatable team have a set back.

The Koo Tigers played aggressively against the star team and took the third game to their advantage, leaving SK telecom unable to fight back even with specialized fighting tricks and moves, as reported by Polygon.

Despite the defeat in the third round, SK Telecom managed to play and fight their way until they won the entire match. Even without an undefeated record, SK Telecom T1, the first two-time world champions, have started from three losses in 2013 and now with only one defeat.

The pro gamer team debuted two years ago in Season 3 of the "League of Legends" competition. Being rookie group and with relatively young group members, the team exceeded expectations and literally played their way to the top, winning for the first time in 2013 with only three defeats.

Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, the leader of the champion team, actually ate broccoli on stage when presented with the title. The reason was that due to jokes and fans remarking that his hair was in the shape of a vegetable. Faker also wagered that he would eat broccoli when they won the World Championships again.
