The popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game "League of Legends" recently announced that it will release a new set of discounted champions and skins for the month of September.
"League of Legends" developer and publisher Riot Games continues is monthly promotional offer of offering discounts to some of the game's content. The discounts are only available within a span of three to four day which urges gamers to check back into the game or the game's website in order to take advantage of the deals.
According to Cinema Blend, Riot Games previously offers discount to players who purchased a certain champion prior to the scheduled sale event. On the other hand, this scheme will not be available anymore for the month of September.
Riot Games published a complete list of "League of Legends" champions and skins along with their corresponding discounted price. The list can be accessed on the official "League of Legends" website. Additionally, the website also provides monetary conversion to Riot Points (RP) which is used to purchase champions as well as skins.
Prior to the announcement of the new "League of Legends" discounts, the game developer made some major upgrade on its servers in order to reduce latency and ensure top gaming experience. In order to reduce lag and game delay on North American region, Riot Games decided to relocate some of its servers.
Riot Games relocated its North American servers to Chicago, Illinois far from its original location in Portland, Oregon. The new server location started its operation on Aug. 25.
