New "X-Men: Apocalypse" details will feature Logan in his classic Wolverine costume, Quicksilver's backstory and the official trailer coming out soon.
Director Bryan Singer teased comic book and movie fans of the upcoming official trailer for "X-Men: Apocalypse" as the famed X-Men director posted a photo on his Instagram page, editing the trailer with editor John Ottman. As seen on the photo, a glimpse of the young Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) is seen talking to someone in the trailer, but it is unknown a to who is he having a conversation with.
It was several months ago that the "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer was leaked online by auidiences who has seen the video during this year's San Diego Comic Con event, spoiling people of the appearance of the powerful ancient mutant, Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) along with his horsemen, Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Arcangel (Ben Hardy), Psylocke (Olivia Munn) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender). But with both Singer and Ottman editing the video, it seems that they are adding something to the trailer that has not been seen in the leaked footage for sake of those who have not seen it.
Aside from the official trailer, "American Horror Story" actor Evan Peters revealed several details about Quicksilver's role in the film. Peters told Details that Quicksilver in the film will join the X-Men in order to save his father, Magneto from Apocalypse's control over him. Both Quicksilver and Magneto have been hinted as father and son in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" when Maximoff hinted that his knew a guy who can control metal foreshadowing their relationship in the comics.
Lastly, several reports claimed that Bryan Singer and the rest of the film crew well be having reshoots in Montreal and this time they will include scenes with Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) in it, ComicBook reported.
Jackman will be returning as Wolverine in two X-Men films; "Apocalypse" and "Wolverine 3", but what makes this interesting is that several reports speculated that the prop department for the film will be adding something special to Logan's costume. It seems that Wolverine will likely don his "classic" yellow costume in the comics as it was first hinted in a deleted seen "The Wolverine" film.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" will be released in cinemas on May 27, 2016.
