iPhone 7 vs. iPhone 6

Apple's iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are rumored to be the thinnest and fastest iOS phones ever. Other leaked information includes bigger RAM, better appearance and improved specs, according to the tech community.

According to Digital Trends, iPhone 7 will feature a thickness between 6 mm and 6.5 mm only. This will be the thinnest iOS phone since its predecessor, iPhone 6, which is 6.9 mm thick. Apple is also rumored to give the new iPhones a boost in memory and speed with 2 GB of RAM and 3 GB for the larger version.

In addition, the two new iPhones will parade an improved iOS processor of A10 chip, which is the fastest processor of the iOS platform. According to Tech Times, the A10 chip and RAM of 2 GB and 3 GB are Apple's most advanced combination processor architecture because its speed enables the user-interface of iOS phones more responsive.

In addition, compared to its predecessors, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will undergo a dramatic redesign. Changes will come to the home button and display among other aspects, apart from its relatively thinner body.

Meanwhile, since Apple has started releasing two iPhones with different sizes last year, it is rumored that the pattern will continue in Apple's next event. Thus, iPhone 7 Plus will be larger of the two, with size like a phamlet.

The release date is expected  to be during Apple's September event in 2016, but the company has not yet confirmed the specs of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Until then, tech fans can only anticipate what new and improved specs will be featured in the new iPhones.
