Apple's largest tablet, iPad Pro, is hitting the shelves on Nov. 11 and tech analysts are not expecting long lines outside stores for the device.
According to Tech Times citing rumors, iPad Pro will be available in both online and physical stores on the aforementioned date. However, Apple has not confirmed the exact date of the availability of the new iPad, the company has announced that consumers will get their hands on the new device in November.
The 32 GB Wi-Fi model of the device costs $799, while the 128 GB model costs $949. The 128 GB Wi-Fi and Cellular model, on the other hand, will have a price tag of $1,079.
Analysts are not anticipating crowds on the release of iPad Pro. Since its launch, while the iPad Pro packs new and stellar features, it failed to impress some consumers because of its massive size. Moreover, Apple ordered 2.5 million units of the tablet for the fourth quarter. This is lower compared to the 14.1 million sold iPad units in the fourth quarter of 2013 and the 12.3 million sold iPad units in the fourth quarter of last year. Apple reportedly ordered even lower number of units of iPad Pro for the first quarter of 2016.
The iPad Pro goes up against Microsoft Surface Pro 4 as its direct competitor, which gained applause and recognition from reviewers and consumers alike.
The iPad Pro offers a 12.9-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2,732x2,048 pixels or 264 pixel density. The tablet is also powered by an A9X chip and an M9 motion coprocessor, an 8MP iSight camera, a 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera, and is powered by the iOS 9 out of the box.
Apple has three color options for the iPad Pro - silver, gold and space gray. iPad Pro also comes with Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard, which are sold separately for $99 and $169, respectively.
