First Order troopers attack Jakku in J.J. Abrams' “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.”

The First Order attacks Jakku in the newest trailer of J.J. Abrams' forthcoming sci-fi film "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens."

The early part of the international trailer saw Rey and Finn running to check something flying in the sky. The next sequence showed the tie fighters flying above their planet. According to Cinema Blend, they are highly probably the same First Order troop then Finn was formerly a part of. It has been revealed before that Finn left the Stromtroopers, as he did not see himself being one.

Finn is set to have a significant part in the entire of the film, as per Cinema Blend. According to the publication, if he had not, the First Order would not have attacked the planet just because of him. In addition, tracking down a single Stormtrooper would be quit overkill for the squad, as they did not have the strength of the Galactic Empire, as well as the resources, to waste on a single being.

Meanwhile, Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi." It stars an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains played by Boyega and Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Hamill, Max von Sydow, Simon Pegg, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, among others.

Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" hits theaters on Dec. 18 while Gareth Edwards's "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" premieres on Dec. 16, 2016. Meanwhile, Johnson's "Star Wars: Episode VIII" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 26, 2017 while Colin Trevorrow's "Star Wars: Episode IX" premieres in 2019.
