New updates for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" showcases details on FOB missions, Quiet's return to the game plus rumors of "Metal Gear Solid 6" being worked soon.
The latest patch update of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" revealed several unique features as new security devices are now available that can be incorporated during FOB missions such as security gun cameras, "Anti-Reflex" mode research that reduces the amount of time the invader uses Refex mode and an upgraded "Stealth mode" features, Gamespot reported.
Grade 8 weapons and MGO gears are also available and they are classified as a new online development items, meaning these weapons are still in the development process even if the player is away from the actual game and they can MB coins in a short span. Gamers are now able to create a third FOB with major increases in staff and unit upgrade functions. There is also a new Top Ranking board display for PF and Espionage ratings, DLC uniform equipement fix, improved in-game events and notifications.
But what makes the new patch update so unique is that gamers will have a chance to see Quiet again in the field during missions. Quiet will become unavailable after mission 45, unless gamers must do complete certain task to get her back.
Someone from Reddit was able unlock Quiet from the game after latest patch update and claimed that in order to get her back in the team, gamers will have to replay the "Cloaked of Silence" mission seven times until the tag is changed from [Replay] to [Reunion] in order to see Quiet again.
In other news, Konami plans on making a "Metal Gear Solid 6" game after the success that "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" had in several months. The Japanese game publisher stated that they will continue to do so even though they have lost the series director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions, as they explained that they have a large-scale investment on their hands when they start making "Metal Gear Solid 6" soon, Express reported.
The falling out between Konami and Kojima had caused major implications on "The Phantom Pain's" development as well as the cancellation of "Silent Hills." Kojima stated that this will be his last "Metal Gear" game in Konami and plans on leaving the company after its development, which also leads to Kojima production's disbandment.
"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One,PS3, Xbox 360 and for the PC platform.
