New "Mortal Kombat X" details will feature Spawn, Sindel, Fujin and the Alien in the "Kombat Pack 2," as well as a possible launch date for the DLC.
The long rumored "Kombat Pack 2" will feature new playable characters in "Mortal Kombat X's" roster as game creator Ed Boon teased gaming fans that four characters will be added to the new DLC similar to the first Kombat Pack.
Although, there have been a long list of characters that NetherRealm wanted to apply in the "Kombat Pack 2", eight characters have been heavily rumored and selected by gaming fans across the world and these are Sindel, Baraka, Smoke, Fujin, Bo'Rai Cho, Noob Saibot, Spawn and the Alien Xenomorph, PlayStation Universe reported.
Sindel, Baraka, Fujin, Smoke and Bo'Rai Cho appeared in the main storyline in "Mortal Kombat X", but were not given a chance by NetherRealm Studios to become playable characters. Noob Saibot on the other hand, appeared to have disappeared after the events of the 2009 "Mortal Kombat" reboot, leaving his fate unknown. Both Spawn and the Alien have been heavily speculated by gaming fans in the first Kombat Pack DLC and looks to do so again in the "Kombat Pack 2."
"Spawn" comic book creator Todd McFarlane already gave his permission for NetherRealm to use the character in the game as the Alien Xenomorph was rumored to be included in the DLC in response to the Predator.
Boon added that their will also be a new game mode called "Jurassic Mode" that feature dinosaurs fighting and killing each other and looks to revive several "old school" levels in Mortal Kombat franchise such as "The Pit."
In other news, there have been rumors making rounds that the launch date for the "Kombat Pack 2" DLC. NetherRealm stated that the second DLC for "Mortal Kombat X" will likely be release on the early months of 2016.
However, new details speculated that the "Kombat Pack 2" DLC will launch in April 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, Parent Herald reported.
So far, NetherRealm has not yet commented regarding the rumored launch date of the "Kombat Pack 2" DLC in "Mortal Kombat X."
"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available in stores worldwide for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
