ABC will air a special episode of "Pretty Little Liars" on Nov. 24 that will be titled "5 Years Forward." The episode reportedly will offer a glimpse of the life of Liars, Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Hannah (Ashley Benson), five years since they left Rosewood.
The recently concluded portion of Season 6 ended with CeCe Drake being uncovered as A. While the Liars has moved out of Rosewood, each of them are settled in their individual life outside the endurement that have tortured them all through their secondary school years.Yet something will happen that will force them to come back to Rosewood five years later.
The show's executive producer Marlene King has emphasized that the new villain is much more lethal and deadly than what A was.
"The new big bad isn't playing a game. The new big bad has an agenda and will not stop at anything before that agenda is taken care of," King told Hollywood Life at New York Comic-Con on Oct. 9.
The special episode will also focus on other characters other than the Liars. Lesley Fera will portray the role of Spencer's mother and will be joined by Holly Marie Combs and Laura Leighton, Christian Post reported.
The upcoming season will have a new story that will be filled with new lies and new secrets. It is also rumored that a new villain will rise in the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6.
While it is widely rumored season 7 will be the last for thriller series, "Pretty Little Liars" is expected to continue beyond seventh season. In fact, it is also reported that the series will soon be adapted for a spin-off movie.
