Jennifer Lopez became the talk of the town for her jaw-dropping performance at the 2015 American Music Awards that recently unfolded at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The "Shades of Blue" actress who hosted the AMAs kicked off the show with a slow, teasing rendition of "Waiting For Tonight" before breaking out into a "high-intensity mashup" of Billboard chart-topping songs by other artists.

The event was graced by some of the biggest names in the American pop music industry. Lopez flaunted her curves while dancing to a medley of hits that include "Bad Blood," "The Hills," "Uptown Funk," "Trap Queen," "Thinking Out Loud,"  "7/11,""Anaconda," plus several others.

It was an opening act that incorporated a variety of modern dance moves, including twerking, classical ballroom dancing, and more. The 46-year-old diva blew away audiences, the American Music Awards website reported.

After almost three decades of showcasing her skills in the entertainment industry, Lopez showed that she is hot as ever. Clad in a sparkly bodysuit, Lopez was both allluring and engaging.

As the camera panned to the celebrity singers in attendance, it was evident almost everyone was delighted. Stone-faced Nicki Minaj became the subject of another controversy as the camera caught her facial expression when "Anaconda" came on.

Fans found themselves comparing the achievements and physical assets of Lopez and Minaj after one fan tweeted that the facial expression of the AMA awardee for Favorite Artist and Favorite Album for Rap/Hip-Hop spoke volumes.

Minaj tweeted that she was merely looking at her own face on the screen and was just shifting back to look at Lopez when the camera caught her doing so.

Though fans made a big issue of the perceived slight, Lopez was unfazed as she continued hosting the show clad in figure-flattering getups, Us Weekly reported.

It will be noted that Minaj once wrote on her Instagram account, presumably directed at detractors, that people may shoot her with words, or kill her with their hatefulness, but "like air" she will rise.

Both Lopez and Minaj were later on spotted enjoying the AMA after-parties with their respective celebrity friends and partners.
