‘Final Fantasy VII’ PS4 Remake Update: Upcoming Game To Be Available On Both Sony & Nintendo

"Final Fantasy VII" PS4 remake is one of the most anticipated games in future. While little is known about the changes and improvements to be made on the 1997 classic remake, the game might feature on both Sony and Nintendo.

Avid fans of Square Enix's JRPG franchise can expect more since the other famous games will return to the latest generation consoles. As a result, fans might speculate about earlier games based on the first ever "Final Fantasy."

According to VG24/7, an official statement from the developer company says, "We will revitalize some of our strong IPs in ways that meet the needs of the modern gaming market. For example, we will take an IP developed for earlier generations of game consoles and recreate it for the latest consoles, while also proactively developing versions for play on smart devices."

Fans held a discussion on the ideal games they would wish to see a remake including "Final Fantasy 8," "Final Fantasy: Tactics," and "Final Fantasy 9." Other favorite games from Square Enix included "Parasite Eve" and "Vagrant Story."

Furthermore, Square Enix is planning to integrate their games to VR, which is the next level of gaming.

Meanwhile, there is a likelihood that "Final Fantasy VII" PS4 remake will not just be exclusive on Sony's consoles, but also feature on Nintendo. According to iDigital Times, the incorporation of Cloud Strife to "Super Smash Bros. 4" indicates that "Final Fantasy VII" remake is compatible to Nintendo consoles.

The publication said that one compelling reason to believe that "Final Fantasy VII" could come to Nintendo is the improved relationship between Square Enix and Nintendo in the recent past. Here is footage on what fans would like to see in the upcoming remake.
