New "Mortal Kombat X" details will feature the launch date for the "Kombat Pack 2," as well as its next wave of fighters in the Game Awards 2015.
"Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios announced that new fighters for the Kombat Pack 2 in "Mortal Kombat X" will be revealed during the Game Awards 2015 event from Dec. 3-5, Gamerant reported. Boon teased gaming fans before that the Kombat Pack 2 will feature four new playable characters similar to the first DLC with new character skins, classic arenas and even a "Jurassic mode" gameplay.
The first Kombat Pack DLC features two returning "Mortal Kombat" fighters Tremor and Tanya, along with two guest characters Jason Voorhees of "Friday the 13th" and The Predator from the "Predator" film franchise. The Kombat Pack 2 will likely feature the fighters that were seen in the "Mortal Kombat X's" main storyline such as Smoke, Sindel, Night Wolf, Fujin, Baraka and Bo'Rai Cho. There are also two new rumored characters like the demonic anti-hero Spawn and a Xenomorph from the "Alien" film franchise.
Boon has been listening to some of the gaming fans suggestions on which character should be included in the Kombat Pack 2 DLC as he approved some characters such as Ghost Face, Michael Meyers, Marcos Fenix, The Joker and many more, while he dismiss a few such as Batman, Superman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Aside from the character announcements, It seems that the launch date for the Kombat Pack 2 DLC has been revealed.
It is speculated that the Kombat Pack 2 DLC will be available on April 2016 and that Spawn, Baraka and Spawn that more favored characters in the latest content, Parent Herald reported.
Although NetherRealm Studios has not yet confirmed whether the release date for Kombat Pack 2 could happen in April next year, fans are certainly looking forward to see which "MK" and guest characters could be included in the Kombat Pack 2 soon.
"Mortal Kombat X" is currently available in stores worldwide for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
