"Kingdom Hearts 3" will likely have a December 2016 release date for the consoles, as well as possible Disney worlds added to the sequel.
It seem that the launch date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" has been revealed as online retailing website Amazon stated that the sequel will be release on Dec. 31, 2016 with a pre-order price of $59.99 in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, MNR Daily reported.
Despite the game being release next year, gaming fans are still skeptical on the said release date as Amazon intend to use the month of December as placeholder for game's such as these as Square Enix has not yet made an announcement regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3".
However, a leaked game trailer revealed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" could arrive at Winter 2016, thus intensifying the speculation that the game could possibly be out in stores on December next year for the game consoles.
Square Enix stated that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will make use of the of the fourth generation consoles power to give gaming fans a spectacular display on the game's universe complete with new Disney and Final Fantasy characters.
Aside from the December launch date, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will introduce new Disney worlds as Square Enix will add "The Jungle Book", "The Fox and the Hound", "Toy Story", "Frozen", "Brave" and "Wreck-It Ralph". Three Disney worlds have already been added such as "Big Hero 6", "Hercules" and "Tangled" and game co-director Tai Yasue teased Marvel and Star Wars characters in the game.
Although, director Tetsuya Nomurar explained that adding these two franchises could be difficult due to Disney's rigid restrictions on using licensed materials, Parent Herald reported. Nonetheless, recent report revealed that Sora can wield weapons based on them such as Light sabers and Captain America's shield.
The third instalment will feature more playable characters beside Sora, multiplayer gameplay and Final Fantasy heroes like Snow Villiers, Vincent Valentine, Noctis, Balthier, Fran and Warrior of Light.
"King Hearts 3" launch date is speculated to be sometime in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
