GoPro Hero4 Session

GoPro's smallest action camera is its Hero4 Session model, which is multifaceted due to its shape, size, and weight. The waterproof Wi-Fi-enabled unibody cube originally had the same $400 price tag as the better Hero4 Silver model until the former's price was slashed to $200, just in time for the holiday shopping season and to increase the company's sales figures.

GoPro introduced the Hero4 Session model earlier this year. The back of the unit is missing a LCD screen in order to make it even tinier than the company's original GoPro camera, according to Ubergizmo.

Action cam shoppers including indie filmmakers looking for more features might want to choose a different GoPro model, including the  Hero4 Silver ($400) or Black ($500). However, Hero4 Session is a wise choice for people looking for a basic video camera.

It is ideal for casual videographers. The action cam captures good footage, is waterproof down to 33 feet (10 meters), includes Wi-Fi connectivity, and is a piece of cake to use, according to Gizmodo.

GoPro has discounted the camera just in time for the holiday season. The new price would provide good value as a stocking stuffer for friends and family.

GoPro's founder and CEO is Nick Woodman. He explained that the durable camera is ideal for outdoor family activities during the holiday season, such as snowboarding and snowball fights.

GoPro's price cut for Hero4 Session is the second one this year. It was done to boost demand as the company's stock dropped almost 5 percent on December 4, Friday and was downgraded to "neutral." It has also nose-dived about 70 percent for the year.
