AT&T is a telecommunications corporation.

AT&T has collaborated with Pebble Time to create the Text Reply for iOS feature that allows iPhone users to reply to text messages using the smartwatch, although sent texts in the Messages app will not be recorded.

While Pebble Time only has the a partnership with the American multinational telecom corporation, it is possible for other carriers to support Text Reply in the near future.

Basically, all of the messages sent by a user through a Pebble Time smartwatch will be given to AT&T, according to The Oceanside Post. Thus, all of the sent texts in the Messages app will not be recorded since SMS is being utilized by the carrier.

In order to activate Text Reply for iOS, an iPhone user must first select "reply" and then choose either "voice" or "templates," depending on what appears in the Apple device. Likewise, iOS users have the option to set predetermined replies that have been suggested by Text Reply.

The account verification and confirmation process handled through the Pebble Time app will only take a few seconds, which makes adding the Text Reply for iOS an easy task.

One important thing about the feature developed by AT&T and Pebble Time is that users should check whether the smartwatch firmware has been updated or not. Smartwatch users simply have to download the new firmware by navigating the settings menu on the Pebble Time device.

In other news, the availability of the Pebble Time Round in Canada has been delayed, according to MobileSyrup. While the smartwatch was initially set to be released in Best Buy stores on Dec. 4, Friday, the date has since been moved to Dec. 11, Friday.

Specifically, only online pre-orders will be accepted by Best Buy on the aforementioned date, although some Pebble Time Round smartwatches have reportedly been shipped to some of the stores already.
