International Business Machines (IBM) Corporation is a multinational technology and consulting corporation, with headquarters in Armonk, New York.

IBM announced on Dec. 16, Wednesday, that it had created its 100th MobileFirst iOS app, which was developed together with Apple. Along with the announcement of the still unnamed app, the tech company promised that it will broaden its support and develop more apps for the iPad Pro, as well.

Instead, the company highlighted how its apps have provided solutions to its growing list of clients. IBM said that its client list is composed of huge enterprise like Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Air Canada, Coca-Cola Amatil and Vodafone Netherlands.

IBM said the massive scope its MobileFirst project is currently covering. The company added that its project currently spans 14 industries and covers at least 64 professions.

In a press release released by IBM, the company said that it is currently working on apps intended to be released for the Apple iPad Pro tablet. IBM plans to harness the power, performance and larger screen of the tablet to create more powerful enterprise tools. The company also cited that iOS 9's split-screen support will play a vital role in the overall design of all the apps that it plans to release for the iPad Pro, according to Apple Insider.

Apple-IBM partnership general manager Fred Balboni said in a statement posted on the IBM website, "Our apps - which currently represent an exclusive level of business value - are evolving to deliver cognitive capability that refines insights to the most relevant information, enhancing the quality of decision making."

The MobileFirst partnership between Apple and IBM was launched in 2014. Since then the two tech giants have been sharing technologies in order to develop enterprise products.
