MacBook Pro 2016 To Have New Competitor From Xiaomi?

| Dec 18, 2015 08:31 AM EST

The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to release in early 2016.

Xiaomi is reportedly making a laptop that will rival MacBook Pro 2016.

Xiaomi is a phenomenal Chinese mobile company that entered a lot of markets. Xiaomi will unveil the new notebook in April 2016, which is a month after the predicted launch of MacBook Pro 2016.

Xiaomi is still mum on what this laptop will offer. It is speculated that Xiaomi's take on a laptop is modeled after Apple's MacBook Pro, including a redesigned keyboard and a Force Touch trackpad.

Xiaomi is developing a laptop which will boast a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Xiaomi's laptop will be powered by Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with an 8GB RAM and will sport a 2GB of video memory along with Nvidia GeForce GTX760M graphic card.

One of the advantages of Xiaomi's rumored laptop is its friendly price tag, which is way too friendly than most devices. According to GSM Arena, Xiaomi's notebook will be the cheapest when it hits the market.

If Xiaomi can pull off a great tablet out of its hat combined with its amazing price point, it will surely give MacBook Pro 2016 a run for its money.

Meanwhile, some of the purported features of the MacBook Pro 2016 are 13-inch and 15-inch screen displays, Intel Skylake-U chipset with more powerful RAM, OS X El Capitan, Type-C USB port, and an improved battery life. The laptops will most likely be equipped with Force Touch technology. MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to be launched in the market in March 2016.

However, Apple has not confirmed the aforementioned features and release date.
