A footage of Tom Clancy's "The Division" closed alpha gameplay has been leaked online and has been garnering attention from the community. The footage was 40 minutes long and was originally put up on YouTube, however, it has already been taken down as of this writing.
"The Division" footage was streamed from a user in the closed alpha stage, which ran for two weeks. This is one of the entitlement for those who have preordered the game. They will also be enjoying the beta access when it gets released next year. The person who uploaded the said video has made a big sacrifice, the closed alpha stage is supposed to be for their eyes only and never meant to be uploaded. The player's id tag can clearly be seen on the video, as was discussed in a thread on Neogaf.
The game was announced at E3 2013 and is an open world third-person shooter role video game. The game includes survival elements which make it more enticing. The game is set in New York, where a virus breakout have occurred. The primary mission is to restore order and find out the source of the virus.
Along the way, on a single player mode, a player will encounter resistance from flamethrower-wielding sanitation worker, who is trying to clean up everything, and former prisoners from Rikers Island who declared the city as their own. In a multiplayer mode, everybody is hostile, except for the team members, Polygon reported.
Tom Clancy's "The Division" is scheduled for a March 8, 2016 release and will be available for Windows PC and Xbox one.
