"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" by Ubisoft for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC launched yesterday, Dec. 1, is the first of the Rainbow six franchises since "Rainbow 6: Vegas 2." A list of 50 trophies for the multi-player and only tactical shooting game has been revealed .
The two Gold trophies on the list are said to be the most difficult to achieve than the other trophy levels. The first one, which is the Jack of all Trades, requires users to play as each operator in either Casual/Ranked Multiplayer or Terrorist Hunt game modes.
Unlocking the second Gold trophy requires reaching clearance level 50 to advance which takes more time to achieve. Those who participated in the game's beta had the opportunity to form their impression of the game before launch.
The response is generally positive but the critical response is somewhere between the76/100 Metacritic score on PC. Most of the review outlets are still postponing the release of their official verdict until they have had enough time to play the multi-player game with the population on live servers.
In addition, Ubisoft promised to focus on providing a great online multiplayer experience with support, gameplay balancing, and tweaks. It will include detailed patch notes.
The Rainbow Six Siege team at Ubisoft also said they would have events and competitions that gamers can look forward to including no paywall on their gameplay content for the four major content releases over the course of a year. Gamers can expect four new maps/seasons that will be playable on both online multiplayer and Terrorist Hunt modes which will be free and available immediately for everyone.
8 new operators with unique gadgets and new primary/secondary weapons including skins can be unlocked using R6 credits or by earned currency called Renown. According to Ubisoft, it is imperative for them to keep the community competitive, engaged long term and united thus, only some premium weapon skins with no impact on gameplay will be available exclusively by purchase and they will not introduce any "pay to win" mechanics.
