Ubisoft has revealed a new television commercial for Tom Clancy’s “Rainbow Six Siege” starring Idris Elba.
The commercial trailer showcases the kind of strategies players can expect to utilize during a match in “Rainbow Six Siege” with all the spectacle of a Hollywood action film. The action is intense and fast-moving, switching from numerous areas of the house where soldiers are attempting to infiltrate the home in a variety of unique methods.
“Rainbow Six Siege” trailer shows Elba the midst of a daring raid executed in attempt to save a valuable hostage, according to Huffington Post. However, Elba is not quite part of the tactical team, or even an innocent bystander, but rather akin to a fly on the wall while examining the action within the house and comments on the strategies needed to excel at combat.
The trailer suggests that tactical strategy will certainly play a big role in “Rainbow Six Siege.” Rather than a typical FPS that thrusts players into action, the game will require gamers to carefully scheme lines of attack with stealth and precision.
The French video developer and publisher says this trailer will be running during peak viewing hours such as during football games on Thanksgiving and the mid-season finale of “The Walking Dead,” so fans can probably expect to see it on their TV sometime soon.
In addition, an open beta for "Rainbow Six Siege" will start on Nov. 25 until Nov. 29. It will be available to all Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC players, Ubisoft announced this week. Players who joined in the closed beta back in October can begin playing a day earlier on Nov. 24, but pre-loading the game will be available for everyone on Nov. 23.
"Rainbow Six Siege" arrives on Dec. 1 across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC with two prices, as per iDigitalTimes report: the standard $59.99 and $89.99 for the gold edition with the season pass included. The season pass will include early access to newly released operators and a credit booster to unlock in-game operators faster. The payers will receive new maps, weapons, and game modes for free throughout 2016 in Ubisoft's year one road-map of post-launch content for the game.
