The "One Piece: Burning Blood" release date has been confirmed to be in 2016. The game will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One by Bandai Namco Entertainment in Latin America, North America and Europe.
With Hiroyuki Kaneko as director and Tairi Kikuchi as game designer, Koji Nakajima is producing "One Piece: Burning Blood" at Bandai Namco Entertainment. Among the fighters revealed to be included in the game are Monkey. D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, Franky, Sanji, X Drake, Captain Kid, Tonytony, Chopper and Eustass, Crunchy Roll has learned.
Bandai Namco Entertainment is planning to release "One Piece: Burning Blood" in 12 languages. Aside from Japanese and English, the other languages are Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Neutral Spanish, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Traditional Chinese, Anime News Network has learned.
On Dec. 21, Monday, Bandai Namco Entertainment started streaming the first promotional video for "One Piece: Burning Blood" with English subtitles. The game being developed by Spike Chunsoft was revealed at the Sony Computer Japan Asia press conference in September.
The "One Piece: Burning Blood" game is set to ship in Japan on April 21, 2016. Retailing for 7,600 yen (approximately $63) plus tax, the PS4 version of the game is more expensive than the PS Vita version, which will retail for 6,800 yen (approximately $56) plus tax.
Meanwhile, all Tokyo One Piece Tower visitors will receive a New Year's card with a scratch lottery to win prizes on Jan. 1- 3, 2016. Tokyo One Piece Tower is the first permanent indoor theme park dedicated to "One Piece" mange series by Eiichiro Oda.
