Action RPG "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will be localized on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, according to a recent announcement from Bandai Namco Games. Featuring Japanese audio, the game will have Spanish, German, French and Italian subtitles.
The "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" release date will be in 2016. It will be released both in the Americas and in Europe, according to Niche Gamer.
Bandai Namco Games took to Tumblr to make the announcement about the "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" release. The Japanese arcade, mobile and home video game publisher wrote, "We are very excited to announce that 'Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization' is coming to the Americas for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita!"
"Get ready to explore world of 'Sword Art: Origin' with your favorite characters in a brand new story created by Reki Kawahara," Bandai Namco Games added.
Unlike the previous games "Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment," "Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment" and "Sword Art Online: Lost Song," "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" is set in a game-original Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online (VRMMO) game called "Sword Art: Origin."
"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" takes place in a different world, where areas are not separated by layers but are connected by land. The fourth game adaptation on console for the series is a retelling of the story of Kirito from when he initially started playing the VMMORPG.
In an interview with PlayStation Lifestyle, "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" game designer Satoshi Hirayae said that the biggest difference from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 are the visuals and the number of characters being displayed during battle sequences.
In particular, the way in which the "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" characters will be drawn in more detail making the characters are "more cool-looking and cuter," according to Hirayae.
