Due out for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita, the upcoming video game adaptation of the Japanese manga series titled "Attack on Titan" written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama is set to be released in North America and Europe.
In particular, the "Attack on Titan" video game will be released in Japan on Feb. 18, 2016. Recently, some of the characters revealed to be in the video game are survey corps Erwin Smith and Mike Zacharius, military police Nile Dok, Hitch Dreyse and Marlo Freudenberg and titans Titan Eren and Female Titan.
It has also been confirmed that the Stohess District is a playable stage, in which players fight the Female Titan. Players can enjoy the "Attack on Titan" video game differently by controlling Titan Eren as compared to playing from the perspective of a soldier, Gematsu has learned.
Meanwhile, a special Titan-themed art exhibition is currently attracting thousands of fans to the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. Titled "Attack on Titan Exhibition: Wall Taipei," the exhibition was originally held in November 2014at the Ueno Royal Museum in the Japanese capital and moved on in August to Oita and in September in Osaka, The Asahi Shimbun reported.
In Japan, at least 400,000 pop culture fans attended the exhibition with original illustrations and other rare materials from the "Attack on Titan" manga and anime franchise, which started on Sept. 9, 2009 in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine.
Featured in the Taiwanese edition of the exhibition are numerous original manuscripts from the manga series. By putting on a headset, visitors are given the chance to have a virtual reality experience in fighting the human-devouring titans.
