"Pokken Tournament" may maximize its potential in providing a high-level gaming experience, as it is set to feature local multiplayer.

According to Hardcore Gamer, "Pokken Tournament" would include local multiplayer with the GamePad used by one player as his own fullscreen view while the TV is used by the other player to play from their character's perspective. Two HORI controllers are disabled for use for the splitscreen mode.

The enhanced arcade-style controller would likely put aside the need for split screens, according to Tech Times. In addition, players are enabled to have their own full screen during gameplay, which makes a more even playing field.

Unlike the past, players now have an advantageous play, as they are now able to gauge aim aim their targets correctly. With many games adapting this concept, this serves as a whole new gaming experience for "Pokken Tournament" for Wii U.

"Pokken Tournament" is also set to utilize an unorthodox combat method, where close-combat will have a familiar "Tekken"-like feature in addition to control styles similar to "Naruto.".

Released on July 16, "Pokken Tournament" is also known as "Pokemon Tekken." It is an arcade fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainmeent and it integrates gameplay features from Bandai Namco's "Tekken" series with the characters from the "Pokemon" franchise.

Nintendo started the idea of asymmetric gameplay and almost every game developer integrated this approach to the new titles during E3. While this could ignite the excitement of "Pokken" players, the game's developer is yet to make an official announcement.
