'Captain America 3' Rumors: Film Ending Details Hints Winter Soldier, Falcon, Sharon Carter To Become Captain America; Giant-Man Teased, New Spider-Man Details In 'Civil War' Revealed [VIDEOS]

Captain America: Civil War is the third installment of the Captain America films directed by Joe and Anthony Russo staring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan.

"Captain America: Civil War" will feature new details on Spider-Man, Scott Lang turning into Giant-Man and Winter Soldier, Falcon and Sharon Carter as Steve Rogers' possible successor.

It seems that Steve Rogers/Captain America's (Chris Evans) death in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could happen in Marvel Studio's film adaptation of "Civil War" as YouTube channel The Hashtag Show revealed new details that could very well be potential spoilers for the sequel.

According to The Hashtag Show, "Captain America: Civil War" will begin with the funeral scene in which it is confirmed that Peggy Carter (Hailey Atwell), Cap's former love interest in "Captain America: The First Avenger" will die in the film leading to Steve getting to know her niece, Sharon Carter/Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp). The last part of the film will also end in a funeral scene, as the show's insider within the film claimed that the last scene will depict the heroes burying Steve Rogers' body, indicating his death in "Civil War" film similar to the comics.

Steve Rogers surrenders to the United States government as they made a deal to stop hunting his allies in exchange for his surrender. Steve is killed during his surrender by an unknown assassin and it is left ambiguous whether this is somehow planned or not. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will be devastated by Cap's death and some heroes blame him for the tragedy.

Three characters were hinted to be Steve's possible successors as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Sharon Carter each picking up Cap's shield, teasing a possibility that one of them will take the mantle of Captain America in the MCU. Both Bucky and Falcon have taken the mantle of the First Avenger within the comics and Sharon Carter were to become Captain America, this would mean that she will be the fist woman in MCU to be Captain America, although it will unlikely happen since The Hashtag Show guessed that Bucky could be the likely successor since both him and Steve are close friends.

In other news, Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) could have a new power as a Lego play set teased that Scott will somehow have the ability to grow larger, teasing that the latter will become Giant-Man in "Captain America: Civil War", ComicBook reported.

Aside from the Giant-Man transformation, directors Anthony and Joe Russo revealed new details on Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in "Civil War" as they stated in an interview that they wanted to introduce the web-slinger in a "contemporary" setting than the previous incarnation, Screenrant reported. Both directors wanted to showcase who Spider-Man is today, how he lives his life in Queens, New York, his relationship with his Aunt May and many more.

Spider-Man will first appear in the "Captain America: Civil War" next year as a possible ally to Iron Man before appearing in his solo film in 2017.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
