"Avengers: Infinity War" will likely feature major character deaths, new Avengers team and the Defenders added in the film.
"Captain America: Civil War" co-director Anthony Russo explains his side on having Marvel Netflix team "The Defenders" in "Avengers: infinity War". Russo stated in an interview that the Defenders' inclusion in the film could be "complicated" because its still an Avengers film as Marvel president Kevin Feige has some degree of control over the story and course of the film and some characters even if they are from Marvel are owned by different people as integrating them could prove to be a very difficult task, Venture Capital Post reported.
The Defenders in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is consist of Netflix series heroes Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist. There are also rumors that the Guardians of the Galaxy will be in "Avenger: Infinity War" given the fact that Gamora (Zoey Saldana) is the adopted daughter of Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the team has extensive knowledge over the Infinity Stones.
Aside from the the Defenders rumored crossover, Feige stated in an interview that "Avengers: Infinity War" may feature possible major character deaths and a new team of Avengers will be introduced and rise up to face Thanos in part 2, io9 reported.
The characters that could die in "Infinity War" includes Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Vision (Paul Bettany) could be Thanos' first kill in the part 1 since the Mad Titan is after the Mind Stone in order to increase his powers along with the other Infinity Stones.
Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel is said to lead the new Avengers team in defeating Thanos and save the while Marvel universe from the cosmic might of the Infinity Stones.
