Marcus Jordan, son of basketball icon Michael Jordan, is questioning data of the Nike diss track made by rapper and designer Kanye West. The album, a musical advertisement to promote West's Yeezy brand of sports shoes, has a line that states "Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman."

Jumpman is the Jordan brand line of Nike which has been around since 1984, while the Yeezy branded shoe, affiliated with Adidas, only came out in 2015. West had a partnership with Nike but ended it in 2013 and entered into an agreement with Adidas.

Michael Jordan himself has not reacted to West's diss track. In his first tweet, Marcus says West's claim gave him a good laugh to begin 2016, while in his second tweet, the younger Jordan showed a GIF of his famous father laughing.

In 2013, Fortune estimates the Jordan brand had a gross sales of around $2.25 billion, notes The Washington Post.

The track, titled "Facts," was released on Dec. 31, and dissed not only Jordan but also Bill Cosby and Steve Harvey. The husband of Kim Kardashian asked, "Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby? Did he forget names just like Steve Harvey?" reports US Magazine.

Two days before the track was released, Cosby was charged with second-degree felony for aggravated assault as a result of accusations of dozens of women of rape against the 78-year-old comedian. Harvey made Miss Universe history on Dec. 20 by naming first runner-up Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as winner and then after a minute corrected the mistake and acknowledged Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach as the real winner.
