Brazilian footballer Ramires Santos do Nascimento, also known as Ramires, is rumored to be contemplating on leaving his English Premier League club Chelsea FC to answer a "big money" call from China, recent reports says.
Caught Offside indicated that the 28-year-old midfielder is planning "to quit Chelsea and seal a lucrative move to China". The report also said that Ramires "is desperate to end his unhappy stay at the club and is looking for an immediate exit".
One of the rumored reasons why Ramires has all of a sudden become uncomfortable at the Stamford Bridge is the reported arrival of his fellow Brazil international Alexandre Pato any time this January on loan from Brazilian Serie A champions Corinthians as both play similar positions in the pitch.
Other than that, the Blues' officials are also reportedly keen on selling Ramires not only because of Pato's potential entrance but to "free up funds for incoming signings" as well, as reported by the Telegraph.
There were reports that apart from interests in China, Bundesliga champs Bayern Munich and Ligue 1 title holders Paris Saint-Germain are also fascinated with the Barra do Piraí, Brazil native and the Premier League champs are set to earn so much from the impending sale because of this.
Ramires was not present in the bench of interim Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink during the team's impressive 1-0 win over top-three squad Arsenal FC at the Emirates Stadium last Sunday, which is speculated as a clear indication that the midfielder may be headed out of the Pensioners sooner than expected.
No reports have yet revealed the name of the Chinese football club that is allegedly targeting Ramires, but rumors are out that it will be no less than "a big money move" and something that "will pay him whatever he wants to do so".
Ramires has been with Chelsea for the last six seasons, playing in a total of 242 games in all competitions including appearances in the 2012 FA Community Shield and in the 2015 FA Community Shield. He netted 37 goals for the Stamford Bridge residents since 2010-2011.
The Brazilian was under-utilized by sacked head coach Jose Mourinho this season, appearing in only nine games domestically and scoring only two goals.
