Another footballer from Chelsea FC could play for China and join the growing list of international footballers in the country, according to the latest football transfer rumors.
Chelsea captain John Terry revealed he will end his career with the Blues at the end of the season following a 5-1 FA Cup fourth-round win over Milton Keynes Dons FC at Stadium MK, reports Jeremy Wilson of the Telegraph.
"It's not going to be a fairytale ending, I'm not going to retire at Chelsea," Terry said.
"Ideally I would have loved to stay, but the club's moving in a different direction. No played is ever bigger than the club. The club will move on. It's going to be my last year and I want to go out at the top."
According to one of the club's spokesman, Terry has explored a possible contract extension. While there is no new deal offered to Terry yet, Chelsea remains open for a dialogue in the coming months, the report added.
There is no decision yet whether Terry wants to bring his talent overseas or entirely quit football, but according to Sam Wallace of The Daily, it would not be surprising if the Chelsea defender follows Ramires' footsteps to play in the Chinese Super League, who has been flexing its muscles in offering big-money deals to international players.

One of the Chinese clubs Terry could join is the Guangzhou Evergrande FC, although the Chinese club is well behind US-based football teams in as the favorite to sign the 35-year-old, according to Ladbrokes.
Last week, Jiangsu Suning FC completed a massive transfer deal that sent former Chelsea Ramires to China. If Guangzhou offers Terry a package too enticing to pass on, he could be the second of the Pensioners to transfer to China.
Terry's departure means ending a 21-year association to Chelsea, where he started to join at the age of 14. Terry, who has won four league titles, five FA Cups, and the Champions League, is the highest scoring defender in the Premier League, with 40 goals in 477 EPL appearances.
