Pageant owner Donald Trump expressed his support for Miss India Noyonita Lodh.
Trump greeted Lodh via Twitter and wrote: "My stunning friend @NoyonitaLodh Miss India hope she gets 3rd @MissUniverse crown 4 India @LaraDutta." The tweet came together with a picture of Lodh in a pink printed two-piece. The beauty queen also has many fans supporting her in the competition.
Lodh is from Bangalore who graduated with a course of Business Management from St. Joseph College of Commerce. The Miss Universe contender won two pageants at the early age of 16 and won Miss Diva Universe in October last year.
Lodh is a flexible person that can easily relate to anyone. Despite being a beauty queen, she is adventurous and likes to "explore things outside her comfort zone." The beauty titlist also believes in empowering women.
The Indian beauty is described as "enigmatic" in her bio in the Miss Universe official website. She also loves to learn more and excel both as a teacher and as a student. Lodh wants to make a noteworthy contribution to other people's lives. In addition, the beauty queen also loves desserts and shopping.
Trump has set his eyes for Miss India amidst controversies in Miss Universe. The businessman recently commented on the issue of Miss Israel and Miss Lebanon. The two contestants were seen together on an Instagram photo that earned the ire of fans from both of their countries, CBS News reported.
A Lebanese newspaper even said that Miss Lebanon Saly Greige should be "stripped from his title for mingling with an enemy of the state." Trump said that the news saddened him since the Miss Universe can be a tool for the two women to forget the hostilities.
Fans can witness the coronation night of the 2015 Miss Universe at 8 PM on Sunday on NBC.
