Prior to the release of his upcoming films "Skiptrace," "Rush Hour 4" and "The Karate Kid 2," Jackie Chan received a new airplane. It is a business jet that can accommodate eight passengers.
As the brand ambassador of Embraer, Chan was the first recipient of the Embraer Legacy 500 business jet in China. In a news release, Embraer senior vice president and Embraer China president Guan Dongyuan talked about the features of the new airplane.
According to Guan, the Embraer Legacy 500 business jet has capabilities that can enable Chan to have a better balance for his schedule. The Hong Kong actor is busy not only with his work as an actor but also with philanthropic works.
In the news release, Chan also expressed how thrilled he was to receive the Embraer Legacy 500. He described the new airplane as a state-of-art executive jet.
Meanwhile, Chan is currently filming "The Foreigner" with Pierce Brosnan and "Kung Fu Yoga" with Bollywood star Amyra Dastur. The last film Chan starred in was "Kung Fu Panda 3," in which he voiced Monkey.
In 2015, Chan starred in "Dragon Blade" opposite Adrien Brody and John Cusack. The film also starred Taiwanese star Vaness Wu and South Korean singer and actor Choi Si-won, who was recently assigned to a Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency promotion, Korea Herald reported.
Wu is known as one of the judges of "Asia's Got Talent" Season 1 and for his role as Mei Zuo in the drama series "Meteor Garden." On the other hand, Choi is a member of the K-pop male group Super Junior.
