The latest "Married At First Sight" season 3 spoilers suggest that David and Ashley's relationship may not be going as well as they planned. In episode 12, titled "Intimacy Part II," it was hinted that the newlyweds are in a middle of a crisis and may eventually give up on their marriage.
According to the official synopsis, for the February 8 episode, Ashley told David that she needed space to think about their relationship. David, on the other hand, went to Buffalo to visit his father's grave and get support from his friends.
In the last episode of "Marriage At First Sight" season 3, it became clear that compared to couples Sam and Neil, Tres and Vanessa, David and Ashley had a lot of things to work on. During the Independence Day party, David failed to notice that Ashley was feeling lonely. While he knew that she was more of an introvert, Ashley made it seem like she had a lot of fun talking to David's friends. David took this as a good sign, only to realize later that Ashley felt neglected.
"I appreciate that David is having a good time with his friends, but I'm by myself," Ashley said.
David, however, argued that he was extremely busy tending to their guests' needs that he barely had time to socialize.
Meanwhile, fast forward to their one month anniversary, David comes home with flowers and a cupcake for his wife. In spite of their differences and misunderstandings, David insisted that he is willing to do everything to make their marriage work.
He, however, went home to a frustrated Ashley. Turns out, she received a message saying that David asked another woman out for drinks. David has yet to explain himself in the coming episode of "Marriage At First Sight" season 3, titled "Intimacy Part II."
Now, David may claim that this woman is just a friend but it seems like Ashley just would not have it. Spoilers revealed that she pushed her husband away, claiming that she needed space and time to think, which does not always end well.
"Married At First Sight" season 3 airs Tuesdays on FYI.
