"Scorpion" season 2, episode 17 will finally see Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Happy (Jadyn Wong) addressing their relationship.
In "Adaptation," Team Scorpion will work together to help stop an influx of drugs being smuggled into the United States via drones, according to IBTimes.
Toby and Happy will also receive an ultimatum from Walter (Elyes Gabel) about their relationship.
In the past, Walter has been very vocal about his desire to not mix personal life with professional life.
This is one of the reasons why even though he and Paige (Katharine McPhee) felt something for each other, they decided to stay professional with each other.
Meanwhile, Thomas and Wong recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about their characters' new relationship.
In episode 16, Toby and Happy made things official between them, and Walter does not necessarily approve.
According to Thomas, he has always been rooting for Toby and Happy to get together even during the pilot episode of "Scorpion."
Wong, on the other hand, said that she was basically just down for any storyline that the writers handed out to her.
When asked whether or not they think Toby and Happy's relationship will actually work this time around, Thomas said that he's positive it will.
"Yeah, I think they have taken such a big leap forward with trying it. Them being a couple, it might be a small step for normal people, but these are two characters with such a low emotional quotient. It is a huge thing to put themselves out there, be vulnerable and give themselves the possibility of getting hurt," he said.
In other news, the co-stars also dished on what they think Walter's reaction will be now that their relationship has become official.
According to Wong, more than Walter's desire to keep things professional within his team, Happy and Toby's relationship will trigger the emotions that he has for Paige.
At one point, Walter could realize that being in a relationship with someone from the team is actually not such a bad idea. However, there are no guarantees that this will lead him to talking about his feelings for Paige.
"Scorpion" season 2, episode 17 will air on CBS on Monday, Feb. 15 at 9 p.m. ET.
