New "Street Fighter 5" details will feature Alex as the first character DLC, PlayStation 3 controller compatibility and the official file size of the game.
Capcom confirmed that the first DLC character for "Street Fighter 5" will be "Street Fighter 3" fan-favorite Alex as the game's official Twitter page tweeted that he will be available for download in March. Alex is among the many rumored DLC characters to join the already growing and impressive roster of "Street Fighter 5" along with Guile, Ibuki, Urien, M.Bison and Juri.
These characters can be unlocked in game through gameplay for free or through or players can choose to but them online, though the price for the DLC has not been posted.
Aside from the Alex being the first DLC character, Capcom added that gamers can use the PS3 controller to play "Street Fighter 5" and the game will have a 6GB Day One update for those who have purchased the game in its first launching, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
"Street Fighter 5's" download files size for the PlayStation 4 will be officially be at 12.3GB as previous reports that the game is at 6.4GB has been debunked.
Capcom announced that a free storymode DLC for "Street Fighter 5" will be available on June as "Street Fighter" creator Yoshinori Ono told Express that it is something new to them and for the fans of the franchise and they have been working on it for awhile.
Ono added that he anc Capcom did not intend to work on it but due to the fans wanting a more in-dept story for "Street Fighter 5" to be introduced to the younger generation of gamers. The DLC story expansion will give gamers higher perspective on each character and will satistfy both new and skilled players that have played "Street Fighter".
The sequel will feature returning playable fighters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Cammy, M.Bison, Zangief, Vega, R.Mika, Birdie, Karin, Dhalsim and Nash, as well as new faces Necalli, Laura, Rashid and F.A.N.G. "Street Fighter 5" will also feature different game mode such as Story Mode, Tutorial, Survival, Training, Network Battles and the Capcom Fighters Network.
"Street Fighter 5" will launch on Feb. 16 in the United States for PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
