Reeling squad Getafe CF (7-11-5, 26 points) is scheduled to meet third-running team Atletico Madrid at their home stadium of Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Feb. 14th, Sunday for a 2015-2016 La Liga season contest.

Getafe is struggling to find their rhythm in recent games as they are currently on a three-game losing slide after previously having three straight wins.

Their last match was a disappointing 0-3 loss in the hands of middling team Malaga CF at the Estadio La Rosaleda on Feb. 5th, as per USA Today.

Fran Escribá's boys could not keep up with the aggressive attacks of Los Boquerones as they trailed by two goals in the first 23 minutes of the match. Venezuelan midfielder Juanpi and Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu netted at the 9th and 23rd-minute marks for Malaga.

The hosts added a third goal two minutes before halftime courtesy of Brazilian striker Charles to complete the rout. The game went goalless in the second half as Malaga goalkeeper Carlos Kameni preserved the clean sheet.

With the loss, Getafe dropped to 13th place in the league table, tied on points with Real Betis but has a higher goal differential at -9 as compared to the Béticos' -15.

Meanwhile, Los Colchoneros recently bounced back from their 1-2 loss to defending champions Barcelona at the end of January to beat SD Eibar, 3-1, at their home field of Vicente Calderon Stadium, as reported by Goal.

It was actually a come-from-behind victory as Eibar drew first blood one minute into the second half with a right-foot shot from outside the box from Spanish midfielder Keko.

Diego Simeone's side certainly did not give up, scoring three straight goals at the 56th, 63rd, and 90th+1, courtesy of Jose Gimenez, Saul Niguez, and Fernando Torres respectively, to completely overtake the Armeros' advantage.

It was a milestone goal for the substitute striker as it was Torres' 100th for the other capital city squad.

The win lifted Atleti to third place in the overall standings, behind by two points from current second place Real Madrid and three points clear off league leaders FC Barcelona.

The predicted result is a 4-1 romp for Atletico Madrid.
