Here is some good news, Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is now rolling out to Verizon's LG G3, HTC One M9 and LG G4.
According to a 9to5Google report, the HTC One M9, LG G4 and LG G3 are now receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on Verizon's network beginning February 16.
It is important to note that the rollout will occur slowly over the week, therefore, users should not worry if they do not receive the update notification in a day as it may take some time. Users can also manually check for the Android Marshmallow update by going into settings.
The LG G3 is receiving the version VS98546A and the LG G4 is getting the version VS98624C.
The new update brings many new features such as silent mode, Direct Share, Now on Tap and Doze Mode. For owners of LG G4, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will add Wi-Fi calling functionality.
Furthermore, the mobile carrier Sprint was the first one to roll out the Android Marshmallow update for the HTC One M9. Now, Verizon is rolling out the latest update to One M9. For owners of HTC M9, the over-the-air update will bring their device to version 3.37.605.7.
LG G3 was released in May 2014. It features a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 pixels x 2560 pixels.
The LG G3, which measures 146.30mm x 74.60mm x 8.90mm, packs a 3000mAh removable battery. The device weighs 149 grams and has 2GB of RAM.
It is powered by 2.46GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. In addition, the LG G3 has 16GB of internal storage that users can expand up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The mobile phone sports a 2.1-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back.
On the other hand, the LG G4 was released in April last year. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 pixels x 2560 pixels.
The LG G4 smartphone weighs 155 grams and has a 3000mAh removable battery. The device measures 148.90mm x 76.10mm x 9.80mm.
Furthermore, it features a 16 MP primary camera on the rear and an 8 MP front shooter for selfies.
The LG device is powered by 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset. It has 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM.
