“The Bachelorette” 2015 couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth may be expecting their first baby soon, if it were up to them. While the Bachelor Nation is eager to find out about their wedding plans, the couple is reportedly busy talking about the number of kids they plan to have in the future.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bristowe and Booth shared that they were more excited about the idea of starting a family than planning their wedding. Bristowe said that they talked more about kids than wedding preparations. The couple shared that they are open to having a big family with maybe four or five kids.
"We've bounced back and forth between four and five, but then we've come to the conclusion that we'll talk after one," Booth said.
As previously reported, "The Bachelorette" 2015 couple is open to the idea of having a televised wedding. Although they have yet to iron out the details, Bristowe and Booth held that they wanted to share the joyous occasion to their fans.
When asked why the couple has not set a wedding date just yet, Bristowe and Booth explained that they wanted to take things slow and get to know each other better. With all the cameras following their every move in the last season of "The Bachelorette," the couple said that it would be nice to spend some alone time.
Bristowe also shared that they are taking advantage of the perks of being a newly-engaged couple. She said that it was as if she and Booth are re-entering the honeymoon phase in their relationship.
They may be taking it slow but that does not mean that Bristowe has not started on her wedding plans just yet. Speaking to Brides, the reality star hinted that Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley may just end up being in her wedding party.
The bachelorette told the publication that she is incredibly lucky to have found someone like Booth.
"I truly believe we were meant to be together. He is my type to a T. I didn't even know I had a type until I met Shawn," she shared.
