The Sacramento Kings are reportedly look at a last minute deal with the Atlanta Hawks for Thabo Sefolosha.

The Kings seem decided to push hard for a playoff spot in the West, with the team trying to add quality pieces before the Feb. 18 trade deadline hits. One of the potential trade targets of the Kings is Hawks wingman Sefolosha, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard.

With a 22-31 record, the Kings still have a real chance to enter the playoff picture. Adding Sefolosha would give them an elite perimeter defender at the small forward position. However, Sefolosha's offense could be a liability the Kings should consider thinking about.

The 31-year-old Sefolosha is only shooting 31 percent from beyond the arc this season and is averaging a mere 6.8 points per game. But the Kings could probably cover it up with DeMarcus Cousins' explosive offense and the Kings' another reliable scorer off the bench.

If the Kings really intend to trade for Sefolosha, one possible trade scenario that works in ESPN's trade machine is sending Ben McLemore and Caron Butler.

McLemore has been the subject of trade this past week as the 6-foot-five shooting guard drew interests from the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to ESPN's Marc Stein, McLemore is working with the Kings to find a new team, as well the 35-year-old Butler.

"The aforementioned McLemore, sources say, is working with the Kings to try to find a new home via trade. Sacramento made the same pledge to veteran swingman Caron Butler as far back as December," Stein noted.

McLemore would provide the Hawks another athletic youngster, who could fit well with the team's younger players.

On the other hand, Butler could serve as the veteran presence in the Hawks' locker room, but could also contribute off the bench for Atlanta.

However, it seems the Hawks could be looking for a backup center as a replacement for Tiago Splitter, who underwent a season-ending hip surgery, tweets Chris Vilvamore of AJC.

Still, anything can happen at the trade deadline, and if things go really wild, the Kings may end up getting what they want for the right price.
