Titled "The Next World," "The Walking Dead" Season 6 episode 10 is set to air on Feb. 21, Sunday, on AMC. A twist in the episode is expected to shock viewers, particularly comic book fans.

A new character that is among the fans of the comics by Robert Kirkman will be introduced in "The Next World," according to Entertainment Weekly. The episode is written by Angela Kang and Corey Reed and directed by Kari Skogland.

In "The Next World," a whole new world outside of Alexandria will be revealed. Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) cross paths with a new survivor during a supply run.

On the other hand, Spencer Monroe (Austin Nichols) will find closure. Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) will recover from his injury, as well.

In "No Way Out," which aired on Feb. 14, Rick made a desperate plea with his unconscious son to get better. After this, Carl seemed hopefully responsive.

Daryl, Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green) continued their trek back to Alexandria and Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rick foght their way to the infirmary in "No Way Out." After exiting the infirmary, Rick started to dispatch walkers and by his actions, the Alexandrians were motivated to join him. 

Aside from Rick, Daryl, Spencer, Carl, Abraham, Sasha and Michonne, "The Next World" will also feature Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Morgan Jones (Lennie James), Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson), Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam), Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Spencer Monroe (Austin Nichols). Paul Monroe (Tom Payne) and Enid (Katelun Nacon) will also be in the episode.

Meanwhile, aside from playing Daryl in "The Walking Dead," Reedus is also set to star in "Triple 9." Set to hit theaters on Feb. 24 in the United States, the crime thriller film is written by Matt Cook and directed by John Hillcoat.

Among Reedus' "Triple 9" co-stars are Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Teresa Palmer, Gal Gadot, Kate Winslet, Aaron Paul, Woody Harrelson and Michelle Ang, among others. Watch the trailer here:
